Teamwork takedown

“You called, we took action.”

NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea took to Twitter on Oct. 2 to thank members of the community and crimefighters in the 105th and 113th precincts for arrests he said took down an alleged Queens drug ring.

Shea said detectives from the 105th and members of the 113th’s Narcotics Team acting on complaints from the community arrested four people, including one person who was on parole.

Police allegedly recovered three illegal firearms, 180 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of heroin and an unspecified amount of cash.

“Great job!” the chief concluded.
